designjunction returns to the vibrant King’s Cross site in September for this year’s annual London Design Festival. Following the success of the 2016 edition, which last year attracted 27,000 visitors in four days, designjunction will look to expand across new locations around Granary Square for its flagship London show.

designjunction presents more than 200 of the world’s leading design brands, to the world’s leading design professionals.

Across five destinations in King’s Cross – Cubitt House, Cubitt Park, The Canopy, Granary Square and The Crossing – a mix of global furniture, lighting and accessory brands will exhibit alongside pop-up shops, installations, and interactive features.

Cubitt House & Cubitt Park will present a stellar line-up of international design brands presenting cutting-edge furniture, materials and accessories as well as lightjunction, an area dedicated to the very best contemporary lighting.

Highlight brands include: Lammhults, Design House Stockholm, Friends and Founders, Fredericia, and Icons of Denmark as well as LSA International, Marset, Tala and more.

The Crossing

The opening event of Design Junction at King’s Cross

The Crossing is an exciting platform for installations and partnership projects. This year designjunction has teamed up with design-led watch brand Rado, to launch the first-ever UK edition of the Rado Star Prize design competition.

The Rado Star Prize UK will target the next generation of young British designers working across interior, industrial and technology design, culminating in a spectacular exhibition and awards ceremony at designjunction 2017.

The Canopy

Design Junction at King’s Cross

The Canopy will be a temporary pop-up venue for premium retail brands and emerging design labels, selling everything from fashion accessories to technology, ceramics, glassware and stationery.

Retail buyers and design-savvy consumers will have the opportunity to meet and buy from a curated mix of brands including Cherchbi, Holdall & Co., Korridor, Melin Tregwynt, Oggetto, One We Made Earlier, Tom Pigeon, Void Watches and many more.

Granary Square

The centrally-located Granary Square will feature large-scale installations, brand activations and creative projects as you enter the site including an exciting collaboration with Renault. Keep an eye out for a striking and fully immersive ceramic installation that will be created in the central fountain space on Granary Square.
